Georgian Windows Oxfordshire
The Thame Double Glazing range of Georgian style windows are a very common choice for residents all over Oxfordshire.
Georgian bars are often used in conjunction with the Georgian style windows to improve the traditional appearance of the windows. Internal bars and surface bars are available, with each coming in a great range of different colours.
Surface Mounted Georgian Bars
To achieve a truly authentic end result, Georgian bars with a surface mount is a great choice. A bevelled surface bar and spacer bar can be attached to the window, with the bevelled mount being external and internal, and the spacer bar being internal.
The different options for our Georgian bars include:
- Bar Colours – A choice from our custom-make Artisan selection or, Light Oak, Black, White, Grey, Rosewood, or Cream.
- Bar Designs – Custom-made, Georgian Grid, Horizontal.
- Bar Sizes – 18mm as standard.
Internal Georgian Bars
A more affordable option for achieving the Georgian style, internal bars involve placing the bar in between the two double glazing panes.
The glass is also much easier to clean with internal bars, as the surface area is larger.
